Catherine English (CeCe)
Catherine English, also known as CeCe by her friends and colleagues, is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as well as a certified athletic trainer (ATC) through the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (NATABOC).
CeCe obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education/Athletic Training from Western Illinois University.
After attending Western, she took a graduate assistantship working as a certified athletic trainer at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she obtained a Master's degree in Human Performance and Sport Studies and a Doctorate in Education with an emphasis in the Sociocultural Foundations of Sports and Education.
CeCe has had a variety of experience in working with adolescent athletes, NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletes, industrial athletes, and the physically active.
She specializes in the prevention of injuries through strength and conditioning and educating individuals on proper body mechanics.
Other areas of expertise include both pre and post surgical rehabilitation to maximize an individual's return to full functionality as soon as possible; sport specific strength, conditioning and power training; and helping people achieve and maintain their health and fitness goals.
CeCe enjoys a variety of sports and outdoor activities. She enjoys running, high intensity/strength endurance workouts as well as powerlifting.
