Pilates

BodyWorks of Morgan Hill offers conditioning based on the exercises of Joseph Pilates. The Pilates method of training builds strength without bulk, teaches good posture and promotes flexibility and balance. Pilates exercises develop a strong "core" -- the deep abdominal muscles along with the muscles closest to the spine. Pilates exercises are used in injury rehabilitation and ease tremors and stiffness in those with Parkinson's disease. Pilates engages you both mentally and physically. You'll work on the mat, with small apparatus and with the reformer, "cadillac", and "chair".
